Head coach Courtney Banghart and the Carolina women’s basketball team have scheduled their first true road test of the upcoming season. UNC will travel to the Twin Cities to take on Minnesota on December 1st as part of the ACC/Big Ten Women’s Basketball Challenge.
The Tar Heels won the last meeting between the two teams, an 88-83 final in Chapel Hill in 2017, and lead the overall series 4-1. However, this will be the first game between the two to be played at Minnesota.

This year will mark the return of the ACC/Big Ten Women’s Basketball Challenge, which was not played last December due to the pandemic.
Game time and television broadcast information will be announced at a later date. Fans hoping to follow Banghart and the Tar Heels can do so all season on 97.9 FM or 1360 AM.
