Thursday night’s rivalry showdown in Durham between the No. 3 UNC women’s soccer team and the No. 11 Duke Blue Devils ended in a 0-0 draw after neither team managed to find the back of the net through regulation and two overtime periods.
As a result, UNC’s record moves to 11-1-1 overall and 4-0-1 in ACC play. The Tar Heels have still yet to allow a single goal to an ACC opponent this season.
Duke is now 6-1-5 against all competition and 1-0-4 in the conference.
In Thursday’s match, the Tar Heels racked up 18 shots compared to only six for the Blue Devils but were still unable to convert.
