The women’s basketball game between North Carolina and and UNCG has been postponed to Friday, December 14 at 7:00 p.m. due to the likelihood of snow and ice from Winter Storm Diego this weekend. The game was originally scheduled to tip-off on Sunday at 2:00 p.m.

A winter storm watch has been issued for the local area and town officials are preparing for two to eight inches of snowfall over the weekend, along with icy rain and hazardous road conditions.

Fans who purchased tickets for Sunday’s game may use them for the rescheduled game on December 14.

Additionally, fans who cannot make the rescheduled game can use their tickets as voucher for any remaining UNC women’s basketball home game during the regular season. Fans may redeem their ticket for another game at the ticket office, based on availability.
