Seeking to extend its season-best winning streak to five matches, the UNC volleyball team came up short on the road–getting swept 3-0 (22-25, 15-25, 23-25) by the No. 3 Pittsburgh Panthers.
As a result, the Tar Heels fall to 7-10 overall and 4-3 in ACC play while Pittsburgh improves to 18-1 and 7-0 inside the conference.
Parker Austin led UNC with eight kills in the match, as the Tar Heels managed just a .125 hitting percentage against the ACC’s best team.
Pittsburgh hit .286 as a team and established its dominance as the match wore on.
