Matchups for this year’s ACC/Big Ten Challenge were released Friday, with UNC scheduled to make its first ever trip to Ann Arbor to face off against the Michigan Wolverines on Nov. 28.

Michigan was the national runner-up this past season after falling to Villanova in the NCAA Championship Game, but the Wolverines were on the losing end of an 86-71 game against the Tar Heels in Chapel Hill as part of last year’s ACC/Big Ten Challenge.

UNC holds a 4-2 edge all-time over Michigan, including a win in the 1993 NCAA Championship Game after the Wolverines’ Chris Webber infamously called a timeout late in the game when his team didn’t have any left.

The tip-off time for this year’s game against Michigan has yet to be determined.
