CHAPEL HILL – The top-ranked UNC men’s soccer team will be aiming to keep its undefeated season in tact when it hosts William & Mary at Fetzer Field at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday.
And apparently 90 minutes of soccer is just not enough for these two squads as both Carolina and William & Mary have played to overtime in each of their last four matches.
So, no one will be betting against some extra minutes of action on ‘Local Heroes Night,’ where free tickets will be available to all veterans, active military, police, fire, and EMS personnel.
UNC keeper Brendan Moore leads the ACC with four clean sheets in 2013, and he will enter the game Tuesday night riding a stretch of not giving up a score in the last 279 minutes.
The match can be seen live on GoHeelsTV and heard live at 8 p.m. on WCHL following Larry Fedora Live. For the first hour of the game, you can hear the call of Paul Connell on our second stream via a link on Chapelboro.com.
