Preseason polls for the men’s lacrosse season began rolling out on Thursday, with Face-Off Yearbook ranking UNC at No. 10 in its initial top 25.
The Tar Heels are coming off an 8-8 season in which they won the ACC Tournament Championship, but were eliminated by Albany in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
Senior attacker Chris Cloutier–the Most Outstanding Player during UNC’s 2016 national title run as a sophomore–is expected to be the top offensive option for head coach Joe Breschi this season.
The schedule for the 2018 season has not been released yet.
