Following a surprise run to the NCAA College Cup, the UNC men moved up 12 spots to No. 4 in the final United Soccer Coaches’ Poll of the season.

The Tar Heels fell to eventual national champion Marshall in the national semifinals last week and ended the season with a 9-5-4 record.

Marshall claimed the No. 1 spot in the final rankings, followed by No. 2 Indiana, No. 3 Pitt, UNC and No. 5 Georgetown.

Other ACC teams besides Pitt and UNC among the mix include: No. 6 Wake Forest, No. 7 Clemson and No. 15 Virginia Tech.
