Brewster was a key component of Brown’s coaching staff and was the first coach hired by Brown upon his return to UNC. The two worked together during Brown’s first coaching stint and followed him to the University of Texas in 1997.
Florida head coach Dan Mullen worked with Brewster at Mississippi State from 2012-13. During that stint, Brewster worked as a wide receivers coach.
Brewster has also coached as an assistant at Purdue, Mississippi State, Florida State, and Texas A&M and as the head coach at Minnesota from 2007-10. In addition, he had two stops in the NFL working with the tight ends for the Denver Broncos and San Diego Chargers following his tenure at Minnesota.
