It’s been a crazy week for UNC basketball, with players getting caught partying without masks after the Duke win which subsequently led to the Miami game being postponed.
On Saturday, Carolina (12-6, 7-4 ACC) travels to No.9 Virginia (14-3, 10-1 ACC) looking to put the events of last week behind them. Roy Williams made that clear in his press conference this week, when he refused to answer additional questions about the punishment for players caught partying without masks.
The Tar Heels need to focus on this game, as Virginia has given them trouble in recent years.Virginia has won the past six games in the series and nine of the last 12 against UNC.
This might be a lookahead game for Virginia, as the Cavaliers have a matchup with No. 17 Florida State on Monday that could determine first place in the ACC.
