The 2018 MLB Draft is wrapping up and Thursday is the final day for UNC baseball players to hear their names called. After a highly successful season, in which Carolina earned the No. 1 seed for the ACC Tournament, there will be a plethora of Tar Heels who will likely be drafted.

Rodney Hutchinson

Hutchinson was the only Tar Heel drafted on day two, selected in the sixth round with the 137th pick by the New York Yankees.


Cody Roberts

Roberts was selected in the 11th round with the 325th pick by the Baltimore Orioles.


Kyle Datres

Datres was selected in the 12th round with the 366th pick by the Colorado Rockies.


Cooper Criswell

Criswell was selected in the 13th round with the 391st pick by the Los Angeles Angels.


Brandon Riley

Riley was selected in the 14th round with the 423rd pick by the St. Louis Cardinals.


Josh Hiatt

Hiatt was selected in the 16th round with the 476th pick by the Toronto Blue Jays.


Brett Daniels

Daniels was selected in the 17th round with the 522nd pick by the Houston Astros.


Austin Bergner

Bergner was selected in the 32nd round with the 969th pick by the Arizona Diamondbacks.


Jason Morgan

Morgan was selected in the 35th round with the 1038th pick by the Chicago White Sox.


Zach Gahagan

Gahagan was selected in the 39th round with the 1173rd pick by the St. Louis Cardinals.
