The ACC revealed Friday that three UNC track and field athletes each earned All-ACC Academic honors for their work during the 2019-20 school year.
Senior Alex Milligan joined juniors Anna Keffer and Madias Loper in earning the honor, which requires student-athletes to have a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during their academic career. Athletic achievements are also taken into account.
Milligan–a business administration major and a long distance runner–earned his second All-ACC Academic honor of the school year, having already earned the honor following the outdoor season.
An Exercise and Sport Science major who competes in the weight throw and the shot put, Loper received his first All-ACC Academic recognition, while Keffer–a communication studies major–earned All-ACC Academic honors for the second straight indoor season on top of also earning a spot on the team for the outdoor campaign.
Keffer also earned All-ACC recognition for her performances in both the 60-meter dash and the long jump.
