A total of six UNC women’s lacrosse players were selected Tuesday by the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association to the All-South Region Teams, which are made up of the best players in the region.
Attackers Jamie Ortega and Katie Hoeg joined defender Emma Trenchard as First Team selections, while goalkeeper Taylor Moreno, midfielder Gianna Bowe and defender Charlotte Sofield each earned Second Team honors.
By gaining spots on the All-South Region teams, each of these players can now potentially be named All-Americans.
