Seniors Michael Carter and Chazz Surratt joined junior Dyami Brown in declaring for the draft, and thanking the UNC fans for all their support.
Carter has run for a career-high 1,245 yards and nine touchdowns this season. His 3,404 career rushing yards rank fourth on UNC’s all-time list.
Since transitioning to linebacker from quarterback following his sophomore season, Surratt has gone on to lead the Tar Heels on defense with a team-high 207 tackles to go with 12.5 sacks and two interceptions.
Brown, meanwhile, has spent the last two seasons firmly establishing himself as one of the best wide receivers in school history. Over his last two seasons as a starter, Brown has caught 106 passes for 2,123 yards and 20 touchdowns.
With a total of 21 career touchdown catches, Brown is tied for second on the school’s all-time list.
