Fresh off leading UNC to a thrilling five-set victory over Florida State on Sunday, a pair of Tar Heel freshmen swept the ACC’s weekly volleyball awards.
Lauren Harrison was named the league’s Player of the Week, while Carly Peck earned ACC Freshman of the Week honors.
Harrison had a team-high 18 kills in the win over the Seminoles, with Peck just behind with a career-high 14.
This represents the first time UNC has swept the ACC weekly awards in volleyball since Sept. 5, 2016.
