UNC junior Benjamin Sigouin was named the ACC Men’s Tennis Player of the Week on Tuesday, following a strong performance in the Tar Heels’ 6-0 win over No. 11 TCU this past weekend.
Sigouin defeated No. 125 ranked Luc Fomba in straight sets 7-6, 6-3 to clinch the overall team win for UNC.
This represents Sigouin’s first ACC Player of the Week honor of the season.
The top-ranked Tar Heels are currently 7-0 heading into this weekend’s ITA National Indoor Championships in Madison, Wisconsin.
