UNC sophomore Makenna Jones was selected Tuesday as one of the ACC women’s tennis Co-Players of the Week, alongside Duke’s Kaitlyn McCarthy.

Jones defeated fourth-ranked Samantha Harris in a three set singles match in UNC’s loss to Duke last week, before defeating Pittsburgh’s Gabriela Renzede in straight sets on Sunday to clinch a perfect 14-0 record in ACC play for the season.

Next up for Jones and the Tar Heels is the ACC Tournament, which takes place this weekend at the Cary Tennis Center.
