CHAPEL HILL– Number one meets number two on Friday night in Durham. Yes, the number one ranked UNC women’s soccer team will certainly kick their regular season into high gear this weekend at the 2013 Duke Nike Classic.
Koskinen Stadium at Duke will be treated to some elite soccer action and the Tar Heels will be featured in two contests against top ten opponents.
First up, UNC will take on the second-ranked Bruins of UCLA at 8 p.m. Friday. And in Sunday’s session, Coach Anson Dorrance’s defending national champions will face West Virginia, the ninth ranked team in the country.
That 11 a.m. Sunday match against the Mountaineers kicks off WCHL’s live broadcast coverage on 97.9 FM and the match will also be streamed live on Chapelboro.com.
