After an exciting 2022 season which saw the team win the ACC Tournament and host a Super Regional, the Diamond Heels have a roadmap to doing all that and more in 2023. The program released its 2023 schedule on Wednesday.

Carolina will open the season at home at Boshamer Stadium against Seton Hall with a three-game series between February 17 and 19. The Diamond Heels will once again play an early series against East Carolina, with the first two of those games taking place in Greenville and the third in Chapel Hill. In a rematch from last season’s NCAA Regional, VCU will visit Boshamer Stadium for a two-game series on February 28 and March 1. Other notable non-conference games include a home-and-home with Coastal Carolina (in Chapel Hill on March 28 and at Coastal Carolina on May 16) and the annual game with South Carolina in Charlotte on April 4.

UNC’s ACC opener will come against Virginia in Chapel Hill, as the Cavaliers will visit from March 10 through the 12. Duke, Miami, Boston College and NC State will all pay visits to Boshamer Stadium for three-game series this season. The series against the Wolfpack will see Carolina celebrate Senior Day. UNC’s road conference schedule includes Pittsburgh, Notre Dame, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech and Clemson, with the visit to the Tigers closing out the regular season.

This year’s ACC Tournament will take place at Durham Bulls Athletic Park and be played from May 23 through May 28.
