To commemorate Kenan Stadium’s centennial season, 97.9 The Hill is inviting community members to share their favorite Kenan memories from the past 100 years. This twice-weekly series will showcase stories from players and fans throughout the fall.

Bryn Renner threw for more than 8,000 yards during his time as UNC’s quarterback, and now serves as one of the analysts for the Tar Heel Sports Network. But once upon a time, Renner was a prospect attending a football camp in Chapel Hill. In today’s installment, Renner remembers his first visit to Kenan Stadium and recalls why it started a lifelong love affair.
