It’s been one year since Tropical Storm Chantal. How has Mebane weathered the storm – and what’s being done to prepare for the next one?

This month, Aaron and Kelly are joined by Mebane’s public utilities director, Kyle Smith. He shares his reflections on Chantal and discusses the process of recovering – which is still ongoing, even a year later. Also: Kelly announces that Lake Michael Park is (partially) reopen; and we look ahead to summer events in Mebane, including the Music on 4th Summer Concert Series and a “Christmas in July” event on July 23.
