Davenport oversees a team of nearly 50 physicians and 15 advanced practice providers, while advocating for the best possible care for patients in their emergencies. She assumed her role in the middle of the COVID pandemic and was instrumental in our successful response to the pandemic — focusing on keeping everyone safe while continuing to lead the team in administering excellent care. Her calm, focused leadership settled rattled nerves and provided a way forward through an event like no other. She is force for good, an emergency physician, a mother, and a valued colleague.
