She discussed the start of the school year, including the need to go into “Secure Mode’ twice during the first three weeks of the school year. She also discussed other aspects of the school year beginning, and the recent state testing data made available from the state department of education. She also discussed the challenges of implementing some of the new state laws regarding public education.
