Lingering impacts from Winter Storm Grayson have caused school closures for Friday, January 5.
Chapel Hill – Carrboro City Schools will be closed to students and staff on Friday.
Chatham County Schools will be closed to students and staff on Friday.
Durham Public Schools closed Friday with a teacher workday.
Orange County Schools closed Friday. Staff are advised to check email Friday morning regarding workday status.
St. Thomas More will operate on a three-hour delay on Friday.
Durham Tech campuses will closed at 4 p.m. Friday.
Chapel Hill Public Library is scheduled to open at 10 a.m. Friday. Chatham County had previously announced that government offices would open on a delay at 11 a.m. on Friday. Durham County government offices will open at 11 a.m. Friday. Orange County government offices will open on a three-hour delay on Friday. The Chapel Hill DMV office is closed Friday.
Orange and Chatham county courts are delayed until 11 a.m. Friday.
University Place will open at noon on Friday. Weaver Street Market will close at 7 p.m. Friday.
