The UNC Police Department is investigating an incident of a fallen individual from an upper floor of Hinton James Residence Hall Saturday morning.
UNC Police Department’s crime log confirms the death of the individual was a suicide. The investigation is still ongoing.
UNC Media Relations said UNC Police received a call at approximately 11:00 a.m that an individual had fallen from an upper floor of the first-year residence hall on South Campus.
