
The latest “Best Hospitals” list from U.S. News & World Report ranked UNC Hospitals as the No. 2 hospital in the state of North Carolina. Four specialties within the hospitals received national rankings as well:
- Cancer – No. 48
- Ear, Noes & Throat – No. 44
- Urology – No. 31
- Rehabilitation – No. 46
Five additional adult specialties were rated as “high performing” in the U.S. News & World Report list, including orthopedics, geriatrics and pulmonology & lung surgery. Fourteen other common adult procedure and conditions fields were rated as high performing, such as diabetes, heart attack kidney failure and pneumonia.
UNC Health Rex in Raleigh checked in as the No. 4 hospital in the state on the U.S. News list. Duke Hospital was ranked No. 1. To read the full list of the best hospitals in North Carolina, click here.
