Highway 54 is closed between Old Fayetteville Road and W Poplar Avenue in Carrboro due to an overturned log truck.
Police tweeted just after 9:30 Friday morning asking motorists to avoid the area.
Authorities then said the road was closed and did not have a timeline for when it would be reopened.
Officials say there were no injuries reported from the wreck.
