A portion of Hillsborough Street between Bolinwood Drive and Mill Race Drive in Chapel Hill will be closed from today until 5 p.m. on Friday.
The closure is the final step in Orange Water and Sewer Authority’s water and sewer line replacement under Hillsborough Street, according to the utility.
Chapel Hill Transit will detour the A route beginning Wednesday along Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to Franklin Street to resume the normal route.
The following bus stops on Hillsborough Street will not be served: Delta Zeta, Townhouse Apartments, Brookside Condos, North Street, Rosemary Street, Martin Luther King Jr. BLVD and Bolinwood Drive.
