A downtown Chapel Hill road is closed on Saturday due to a water main break.

The Town of Chapel Hill tweeted on Saturday afternoon that West Rosemary Street between Church Street and Mitchell Lane will be closed for 4-6 hours for the repair of a water main break.

Crews are on the scene to repair the break. This post will be updated with additional information as it becomes available.

Parts of Booker Creek Road Closed
Booker Creek Road will be closed to through traffic until Early October between Lakeshore Lane and Foxwood Drive near the Booker Creek Townhouse Apartments. The closure is due to a storm water drain pipe replacement. The road is projected to reopen in October, weather permitting. A detour map can be found here.
