UNC sent out an Alert Carolina Friday morning informing the public of two incidents of inappropriate touching reported on campus.

The university said in its message to the community it received reports on Thursday, March 5 from two female students who were touched inappropriately by a fellow male student on Tuesday, March 3.

The incident took place in the Hanes Art Center and the suspect was the same in both cases. The Alert Carolina message said the suspect is also known to both reporting parties.

In wake of these reports, UNC encourages the Carolina community to set personal space boundaries and report all inappropriate behavior to campus police.
