Chapel Hill Police are seeking assistance locating a 16-year-old who was last seen over the weekend.

Authorities say Jarred Smith was last seen around seven o’clock Sunday morning near Knolls Street.

Smith is described as an African-American male, estimated 5′ 7″ tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair.

Smith was wearing a black jacket when he was last seen, and police say Smith is known to frequent the McDonald’s at 409 West Franklin Street and the Hargraves Center on North Roberson Street.
