A spokesperson for the department said Tuesday that its investigation is still ongoing and no charges have been filed at this time. Police received notice from Child Protection Services on Friday that it had a court order for custody of Brown and needing help locating the infant. By Monday, the North Carolina Center for Missing Persons determined the case met the requirements of an Amber Alert, according to Chapel Hill Police.
