Orange County Board of Education member Rosa Williams has passed away.

On Monday, February 16, 2015, Orange County Board of Education member Rosa Williams passed away after a courageous battle with an illness. Ms. Williams was elected to the Board in 2014. Ms. Williams recently retired after thirty years of service with the City of Durham government in business services. Ms. Williams was an active member of the Psi Gamma Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Rosa Williams’ service on the Orange County Board of Education is remembered and honored.
