Due to the majority of its vehicles being out of service and in need of repairs, Orange County Transportation Services is temporarily suspending some of its operations. According to a release from OCTS, 18 of its vehicles are in need of maintenance, which includes its mobility-on-demand vans.

The services OCTS are suspending are:

  • the lunch transportation program
  • general shopping trips
  • Orange Enterprise Group
  • Mobility-on-Demand

“The temporary reduction in service is necessary to continue providing critical transportation needs,” the OCTS release said. “We anticipate a return to full service after old vehicles are repaired and returned over the next few days and new vehicles are received this summer.”

Residents with questions are encouraged to contact OCTS at 919-245-2008.
