Many dedicated listeners to 97.9 The Hill know that morning show host Aaron Keck is a connoisseur of restaurants in the Triangle. Beyond trips to fine dining for fun, many of his culinary adventures are featured in the Date Night segment of “This Morning with Aaron Keck” recorded with his husband, Brad Bednar.
But until recently, Keck had never tried a staple of the North Carolina fast food scene: Cook Out.
After Chapel Hill saw a Cook Out franchise open on South Elliott Road, the local morning show host was game to try his first ever Cook Out meal. Check out the video below to find out his impression of the atmosphere, his tray order and his overall rating of the experience.
