Time-Out on W. Franklin Street Finds New Home

Here’s some breaking news of special interest to all you late-night diners with a fondness for chicken biscuits.

Time Out Restaurant at 133 West Franklin Street in Chapel Hill is closing on August 31.

But don’t panic.

The beloved eatery will re-open at its new location on Franklin Street near McAllister’s Deli.

That information comes via a Tweet from Laurie Paolicelli, Director of the Chapel Hill/Orange County Visitors Bureau.

The move is big news. The Chapel Hill institution has been at that University Square location since 1978.
