It’s akin to Raleigh’s famed Krispy Kreme Challenge…but with a twist that’s uniquely Chapel Hill.
Coming to UNC this March, the “Feeding 5K” will challenge runners to a five-kilometer course across campus, from the Dean Dome to Morehead Planetarium – while eating a Time Out chicken biscuit halfway through.
It’s the brainchild of Michael DeSantis, who ran the Krispy Kreme Challenge (a five-mile run and a dozen donuts) and dreamed of bringing something like it to our neck of the Triangle.
DeSantis spoke with WCHL’s Aaron Keck.
The race will take place on Saturday, March 26, beginning at 7:30 a.m.
