Orange County Public Transportation is celebrating the one-year anniversary of the launch of the Orange – Alamance Connector with free rides through mid-January.

The route was launched last December to connect Hillsborough, Efland and Mebane with hourly service in each direction.

Orange Public Transportation serves many rural portions of the county and supplements GoTriangle and Chapel Hill Transit routes in the county.

Fares are being waived for the Orange – Alamance Connector through January 18.
