UNC Children’s Hospital rang in the new year and celebrated its dedicated staff with the release of its annual music video. This year, the song selection is “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life” from the movie “Dirty Dancing” to honor the retirement of Dr. Stuart Gold.

Dr. Gold, who has starred in each of the hospital’s previous videos, will retire after 35 working in pediatric oncology at UNC Children’s. The video features Gold imagining a dramatic send-off at the hospital, including an exit via helicopter airlift.
In years past, the hospital’s video has featured Kool & the Gang’s “Celebration,” Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” and Earth, Wind & Fire’s “September.”
