Six units at an apartment in Chapel Hill were damaged in a fire Monday night.

Emergency officials said in a release late Monday that crews responded to the fire at 220 Conner Drive around 8:30 p.m. Monday. “Two units on the second and third floors were burned in the fire,” officials said in the release.

Six total units in the apartment building between Willow Drive and East Franklin Street were affected by the fire, as well as smoke and water damage.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

No one was injured in the fire, which crews had under control within about 45 minutes.

The American Red Cross is providing assistance to the residents who were affected.

In addition to the Chapel Hill Fire Department, fire crews from Carrboro and Durham responded. Orange County Emergency Services along with the South Orange Rescue Squad provided medical support.
