The Chapel Hill Fire Department responded to a house fire downtown on Kenan Street Tuesday morning.
Firefighters were called to the scene behind The Graduate Chapel Hill and Shakti Body Piercing, just off the Franklin Street intersection, at 6:16 a.m.
Officials said the fire was under control within 30 minutes of crews arriving. No injuries were reported.
Crews from the Carrboro Fire Department and South Orange Rescue assisted in putting out the flames. Orange County EMS and Chapel Hill Police were also on standby to assist.

Two residents were displaced as a result of the incident. Officials said the fire damaged roughly 50 percent of the house.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
