UNC Police is investigating a report of an armed robbery occurring Saturday night.
According to a message from Alert Carolina, UNC’s emergency notification system, the robbery occurred around 8:15 p.m. at “Little Frat Court” near the intersection of Cameron Avenue and Pittsboro Street. “Little Frat Court” is home to the Kappa Sigma, Pi Lambda Phi and Zeta Psi fraternities.
The message said there was one student victim and the student is not injured. Police are looking for two Black male suspects one who was wearing a lime green face mask and one wearing an orange face mask. Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to call 911 immediately.
There are no further updates at this time. The university said it will update the situation on the Alert Carolina website.
