The Chapel Hill Police Department is investigating the death of a teenager reported on Saturday night at a Franklin Street hotel.

A release from the department Sunday evening said police are looking into the death of a 13-year-old who fell inside the Graduate Hotel, which is located at 311 West Franklin Street.

According to police, the child fell two stories from the hotel’s fifth floor to the third floor just before 11 p.m. on Saturday. The cause of the fall is under investigation.

Chapel Hill Police said no further information is currently available.
