Rebecca Hankins, CORA, Development and Communications Director Rebecca brings more than 20 years of experience as a skilled fundraiser, communication strategist, and project manager. During her tenure at CORA, she spearheaded initiatives that increased fundraising revenue by 250% and expanded donor support by 50%. Rebecca is known for her creative approach to donor engagement, digital and traditional media strategies, and rebranding efforts that elevate CORA’s visibility. Her expertise lies in leveraging partnerships and technology to ensure program sustainability and community impact.

Chatham County's CORA Food Pantry is expanding to meet a growing need - at a time when federal cuts are creating an extra financial strain.

After several years of planning, the new Chatham County Arts Center is now open and will hold a grand opening ceremony Saturday, May 17.

After two years of construction, Chatham Park's new 36,000 square foot YMCA facility is officially open to the public.

The Town of Carrboro shared Tuesday the grand opening date for the Drakeford Library Complex is Friday, Feb. 11.

Development and Communications Director for CORA Rebecca Hankins spoke with 97.9 The Hill's Andrew Stuckey on Wednesday, May 24th.  She discussed the summer SNACK program that provides groceries to families in need over the summer months. She also discussed the upcoming reopening of their on-site shopping facility.
