Chair of the Orange County Commissioners Jamezetta Bedford spoke with 97.9 The Hill’s Andrew Stuckey on Wednesday, May 15. She gave an update on the county budget, which will have its second and final public hearing coming up on May 30. She also previewed a budget work session the commissioners will hold tomorrow night. She also talked about the recently launched CARE program, which puts a social worker in Orange County’s 911 Center. She also talked about upcoming events, including the Orange County Shred-a-Thon and more.
