Chapel Hill Mayor Pro Tempore Amy Ryan joins 97.9 The Hill News Director Brighton McConnell on Thursday, August 14. Ryan shares her emotions around seeing UNC students returning to the area ahead of classes beginning and the town’s initiative with the university to welcome students to neighborhoods — as well as remind neighbors how to extend a hand. She also shares her perspective on the new town manager getting started, her thoughts on the town moving forward with flood recovery and several upcoming events around town before August wraps up.
