Carrboro Mayor Damon Seils speaks with 97.9 The Hill’s Brighton McConnel in-studio on Friday, August 11. He brings updates on several changes to Chapel Hill Transit bus stops – with many of Carrboro’s stops being the first expected to see work completed. With the announcement of dates for the Carrboro Music Festival, West End Poetry Festival, and Carrboro Film Fest, Seils also shares thoughts on the importance of such events to the downtown. The mayor closes with updates in the town’s response to a recent fatal stabbing and amount of feedback on a survey about the future of the Bolin Creek Greenway.
