Haw River Keeper Emily Sutton of the Haw River Assembly spoke with 97.9 The Hill’s Andrew Stuckey on Thursday, May 2. She discussed some big developments for the Haw River, including a settlement with the town of Burlington over industrial discharges into the river. She also talked about new limits put on PFAS levels in drinking water, which directly affects the Haw, and more.
