Maintenance work will shut down a popular bikeway in Carrboro this week.
A release says a Duke Energy contractor will be conducting vegetation management along the Libba Cotton Bikeway from June 13 through the 15.
The bikeway will be closed from eight o’clock in the morning until 4:30 each afternoon.
The crew will make sure that the bikeway is usable before shutting down daily operations and set the work zone back up the following morning.
