Chair of Orange County Commissioners Jamezetta Bedford spoke with 97.9 The Hill’s Andrew Stuckey on Wednesday, May 17th.  She discussed the board’s decision to hire a consultant to help update the county’s comprehensive plan. Included will be an update of  the climate action plan and a greater focus on minority neighborhoods. She also discussed area high school robotics teams that recently competed at state and national competitions. She also discussed the UPROAR Arts festival coming to Orange County in July. Finally, the board approved three new cites to be designated as historic.
